Best Tasting Low-Calorie Protein Bars With a High Protein Count

For me, one of the easiest ways to stay full throughout the day and get the energy and protein I need is by eating protein bars. I have one every single day and believe me I have tried almost every bar on the market. What I learned is that not all protein bars are created equal. Some have a great amount of protein but are stacked with sugar and calories. I have chosen 9 of my favorites to share with you that pack on protein and nutrition without compromising taste.

Clif Bars (9g protein)
Clif bars are made with organic oats and soybeans. They are high in protein (~9g); no trans fats and 23 vitamins & minerals. Clif Bars have nutrition for sustained energy. The Clif Bar Company also supports organizations that address environmental, health and social issues.

Macro Bars - GoMacro (10g protein)

Plant-based and high protein (~10g). MacroBars are also gluten-free, USDA organic, vegan, non-gmo, kosher, and soy-free. They include delicious, simple, heathly ingredients with no additives or preservatives. This is an award-winning energy and protein bar that will boost your immune system and provide your body with essential nutrients, and the complex, slow-burning carbs will keep you feeling full for longer and your energy level sustained.

Rx Bars (12g protein)
RxBars are whole food protein bars made with clean, simple ingredients: egg whites, dates, and nuts are combined with delicious flavors to create a nutritious bar. Their top seller is Chocolate Sea Salt and it is the perfect balance of salty and sweet. Combining flavors like 100% chocolate and sea salt, the bar is extremely smooth and decadent. There is no added sugar, no gluten, no dairy, no soy, no artificial flavors, no preservatives, no fillers, non GMO, whole 30 compliant, kosher, no B.S., and 12g of protein.
Luna Bars (12g protein)
Luna bars are delicious, satisfying and sustaining for under 200 calories. THey have a low glycemic index (meaning foods digest slowly for prolonged levels of energy) and contain 12g of protein and 3g of fiber. They are also gluten free and a good source of Iron and Vitamin D.

Pure Protein Bars (20g protein)
Pure protein bars feature the winning combination of high quality protein and great taste. They are delicious, gluten-free, chocolatey, and loaded with 20g of protein. They also provide vitamin and minerals to help fuel busy days.

Vega Bars (12g protein)
These meal replacement bars are made with whole food ingredients and are packed with protein, fiber, Omega-3s, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, probiotics, and greesn. There is 12g of complete, plant-based protein from whole grain brown rice protein and pea protein and they are vegan, non-GMO, and gluten-free.
Quest Bars (20g protein)
Quest bars have no added sugar (they are sweetened with stevia and erythritol) and are all natural, gluten-free and soy-free. They contain 170 calories with 20g of protein, 7g of fat, and 1g of sugar. They also have super unique and delicious flavors such as birthday cake and cookie dough (one of my favorites).
The Complete Cookie - Lenny & Larry's (20g protein)
These cookies are so delicious. The only downside is that this huge cookie is around 400 calories. The upside? It contains 20g of protein and is a great replacement to cookies, brownies, and treats.

Syntha-6 Protein Crisps (20g protein)
Syntha-6 crisps have 20g of protein, only 4g of sugar, and 240 calories per bar. They are different because of the crispy and delicious texture and come in 6 amazing flavors (my favorite it chocolate).
